September 3, 200421 yr I know all the different views everyone has with Ariane but I did buy their new 737 and when its loaded up I get very blurry panels.I have a new P4 3.2 with a ATI 9800 video card 1 gb DDR Ramm and a new install of FS9 with the display set at 1289x960.I have attached some screen shots of the problem,I have emailed Ariane but no response and I know that will get a few replies.I look at the manual and all their screen shots are very clear and mine are not,I have no other problem with any other aircraft. September 3, 200421 yr Jeff,You didn't mention it, but if you are referring to the virtual cockpit- is your aircraft cockpit slider to max? I don't know exactly what it is called so I said aircraft cockpit. I do know you can access it from the options/display menu under aircraft tab I think?
September 3, 200421 yr Jeff,I don't have the Ariane, but from what I have read, this is just simply the way the cockpit looks (blurry) I have seen many screen shots of the Ariane and every one I have seen is blurry. And I know that it is a VC only.
September 3, 200421 yr If it looks like thishttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/90069.jpg Then it is normal. Best Wishes,[h4]Randy J. September 4, 200421 yr Randy yours looks alot better than mine I posted some screen shots.I don't know whats going on. Jeffg
September 4, 200421 yr Wow, that's pretty ugly. I'm not going to diss Ariane's systems/flight modeling, because I haven't flow it yet. But, the visuals are very ugly compared to PMDG's VC.
September 4, 200421 yr Hmmno wonder everyone says they get the same amount of frames as the c152. Did you know that there is an update on the ariane website? Try that. Brent Lewis
September 4, 200421 yr They don't get it from the panel BMP per se, but from the GAUGE REFRESH RATES that are low UNLESS you pop them up...Best Wishes,[h4]Randy J. September 4, 200421 yr You guys are lucky! I cannot even read the digits on the MCP (altitude, heading,...) unless I zoom to about 400% and more! All in all the VCe is nice, but pretty useless for me. I need to do things quickly (tune radios, look forward,...), so with the blurry textures, the slow VC gauge refresh rates and the cumbersome VC handling in general I grounded the 737 until the promised 2D panel comes along. The Ariane people always responded my mails, so I have no problems here. But (listen, Ariane team, if you should read this eventually) I'm missing the forum they announced long time ago. Would be interesting to share thoughts there and see what others say.Andreas (LOWW) Andreas, LOWW - Nihil sumus et fuimus mortales. Respice, lector: In nihil ab nihilo quam cito recidimus.
September 4, 200421 yr JeffIf you go to your DISPLAY PROPERTIES in FS2004 and you go to the last TAB you should set the GLOBAL settings to MAX and you will have NO BLURRIES.Let us know if it helpsRegardsTerblanche
September 4, 200421 yr I have put the update on and the the global settings are at the max.I have sent 2 emails to Ariane with no response, when I went back into the sim last night it now says I have to activate which I alredy did.I now can't even fly it because of its not activated it keeps saying wrong email address in the FMC.I have eveything set in the graphics where it should look great but no such luck.I for one wish that there was a forum where we could disuss these problems. Jeffg
September 4, 200421 yr Didn't you backup your gauges and *.ini files as they said in the manual ...?You should do it and then next time you install, you just copy them over and then you don't need to register again.I'm sure they will answer you soon and just request that they activate your account again, so that you could register online. Then do your backup and make sure of all the settings. It should look like the picture that Randy posted.RegardsTerblanche
September 4, 200421 yr 1. Did you apply already the SP1.1? If not, do so first;)2. Textures uses MIP MAP. Low settings in MIP gget blurry textures. The same old story of graphic cards. one like more DXT3 with MIP's other prefer DXT3 no MIP's and others handle just 32-Bit.it looks like this on my Ati Radeon 9600XThttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/90219.jpgThats ok for me, for a photorealiastic panel.cheersMartin X-Plane 11.3x / DCS 2.5.4 / P3Dv4.5 / Aerofly FS 2 Win10-x64 | ASUS Z270E | Intel i7-7700K @4.5GHz | Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB DDR4 | 6TB SSD Samsung 850 Pro | ASUS GTX 1080 ROG STRIX 8GB DDR5X | TM Hotas Warthog | Saitek Combat Pedals | Oculus Rift CV1
September 4, 200421 yr Has the service update corrected most of the problems with the aircraft? What about the very, very slow updates of the displays unless in "popup" mode I have read about? Any feedback would be appreciated.
September 4, 200421 yr I don't believe so George, like selection of V/S should not open up to a given rate i.e 1800. I believe the default FS A/Ps do this on the 737 too which is wrong..
