Hey guys, below are some pics on the textures i get in the USA. I primarily fly in Europe and mostly use photoreal scenery or VFR scenery (France VFR, ORBX England, VFR Germany), and get no problems at all. However i recently started flying in the USA again (got accepted in virtual airline) and did a flight out of Chicago using Chicago X scenery and default fsx airport. The images were very blurry and detail was horrible. Building will appear but the streets and grass are all blurry.  I cant upload images because it says im not permited to upload this kind of file. Also my specs are here: Intel core i5 2500K @ 4.5ghz (when playing fsx i get between 45c and 65c for temp.). AMD Radeon 6870 1GB and 8GB ram. The main specs you can see on my profile. Also i used the "FSX tweak guide PDF" to configure my fsx.  Is there a tweak i can do to fix this problem? Thanks in advance! 

Have you tried following kostas tweak guide ? , I use fsps extreme fsx pc & my textures are quite good on both photo scenery & orbx scenery with lots of auto gen.

Try converting and uploading the image, as determining whether your issue involves an FSX texture resolution shortcoming or an actual graphics error is difficult, due to the subjectivity involved. However, from my experiences, FSX default European scenery is quite blurry. 

 

At what altitudes is the blurriness unbearably distracting (i.e., hopefully not during cruise)?

Here are the textures. I tried setting the fiber frame rate setting to 0.33 and it kinda fixed the problem but now i get a lot more lag.

Well the tweak guide i followed has Nicks, costas, and all the other tweakers tweaks into one.Does FSPS extreme fsx really help? Because doesnt it just defeat the purpose of manual tweaking?

Well I had big issues with photo scenery blurries , I have a fairly high spec pc , you can see the specs if you click the tab my pc , fsps extreme fsx oc alters the cfg every time you run it & after a while all of a sudden my fsx got quite good , I certainly didn't change anything so I put it down to extreme fsx pc , then the other day I run fsx without it running & my fps dropped a lot, I'm not saying it will definitely sort out your problems but it might.
