March 29, 201313 yr Hi Nigel, Reinstalling fixes a lot of problems and the Microsoft Visual error you were getting will hopefully go away. Just make sure you installed those updates listed in Post #2. I have had to reinstall FSX a few times too and I know it can be a pain in the butt but sometimes it seems like it really refreshes things in FSX and makes things run faster and better. April 22, 201313 yr Author JUst a addendum to this but I recently found that if you have duplicate ADE files it will also give you RunTime Errors.
