FS2Crew recognising VATSIM voice

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I have a problem with my FS2Crew. Since I've changed my microphone my FS2Crew is now recognising the Vatsim radio calls as voice inputs by myself.

This is really strange because I'm having VATSIM on a headset and it should absolutly not be hearable by the microphone.

Can you tell me how to solve this problem?

Thanks

Emi

make sure your new microphone is the "Default" device in windows

Hi, my microphone is set as the standart device already, but the problem still exists.

Try turning down your mic sensitivity... keep your mic further away from your speakers...

The mic will pick up sound... it can't distinguish between your voice and someone else's voice.

Other option is to use hard mute all the time, and only turn it off momentarily when you want to speak.

On the other hand: If VATSIM controllers learn the FS2Crew grammar, they can literally "talk you down" now.
