March 18, 201313 yr He can update that airway manually, all he needs to do is to identify all waypoints at UP16, than open wpnavfix.txt, locate al that fixes and copy coordinates. If some waypoint is nonexistent, he can add it manually in that file. After that he can open wpnavrte.txt, add (or correct, if that airway already exist) UP16 airway and sequence the waypoints. That's a 10min job. Lj. Prodanovic
March 18, 201313 yr Author Please do not get too deep guys, the main reason for the post was to see what I was doing anything wrong in the FMC by entering waypoints and airways, I picked the route manually, strait off a current chart, it was a made up route, not meant to be correct, just an exercise to see if I understood how to enter info. The fact that it would not enter without a disco, I was unsure why, the fact my AIRAC was too far out of date is the most probable cause, if I had picked another route, the problem may not have occurred and I would have felt pleased that I had learnt a little more about the FMC. Many thanks Steve Steve Merriman
March 19, 201313 yr Hi Steve, It was just unfortunate that your AIRAC was not updated and you included CROFT in your plan that was a linkage between UP16 and UN615. If you do not want to update your AIRAC, you could always go direct from RIBEL to BARTN, which will get you on the UN615 airway? Regards Geoff Bryce
