March 19, 201313 yr For some very odd reason my heading indicator (HSI, ND etc) and mag compass jumps 7-10 degrees on its own with no change in ground track. It happens with all aircraft (addon/default). I've checked failures/assignments etc, and have calibrated yoke and rudder. Still no change. I reinstalled FS9.cfg with no change either. I have the registered version of FSUIPC. Any thoughts? Thanks! Rich Perry
March 19, 201313 yr It could be you are switching between True Heading and Magnetic Heading. When specifically does this happen? on the ground? mid flight? Also, check that your IRS is aligned properly and the FMC has the right Reference location programmed in. March 20, 201313 yr You could update your magnetic variance in FSX too... March 22, 201313 yr You could update your magnetic variance in FSX too... 1) If you've done the magdec.bgl fix (moving it into another scenery folder and add it in 1st priority), undo it. 2) Sorry to nitpick, but this is the FS9 foum  3) Now that I think about this, does this happen wih no winds at all? March 22, 201313 yr 2) Sorry to nitpick, but this is the FS9 foum Ooops.... Well then I guess my answer is invalid! Sorry! ^_^ ^_^ Quote "The Skies the limit" Remy Mermelstein 777-300 FS Pilot, Deltava P3Dv4.1, ASP4, UTLive, ReShade + URP + PTA, All settings max'd, i7 Core Extreme @ 5.2gHz, GTX 1080, CyberpowerPC Gaming Laptop, 500GB SSDx2, 32GB DDR4 RAM.
March 22, 201313 yr Ooops.... Well then I guess my answer is invalid! Sorry! ^_^ ^_^ Not at all  Actually, the first part of your suggestion reminded me of a similar problem I had. That's why I mentioned undoing any magdec.bgl tweaks. March 23, 201313 yr Author I had recently installed FSDT Bergen so I went into scenery settings and inactivated it and voila--works fine now. Strange thing is, I had had Bergen installed before and never encoutered this issue---so I'm wondering if it's less about the actual scenery and more where the scenery is located/prioritized in scenery.cfg. But at least I've got the heading issue sorted. Thanks for the comments/advice. Rich Perry
