March 23, 201313 yr Author Ok so this morning in doing the AOTD, I ran the Aug release of GMap for the first time, I had previously had the July release. While I had GMap displayed on my second monitor, I did not click on the connect button until after I was sitting on the runway getting ready to take off. For this flight, the orientation icon displayed correctly. Course it might have been the day of the week - or the orientation of the stars this morning - or the fact I was on my third cup of coffee lol. I will continue to do it like this, and see if it continues to display appropriately. DreadMetis - I don't think there is a way to do that in full screen, I myself use I guess what would be referred to as pseudo full screen by using autohotkey, but I really prefer it that way now as it frees up my second monitor for other things as well, while running Flight. March 24, 201313 yr Oh Dburne I already know about the AHK script My question is : GMap has some fsx version that can be used in full screen, but not the MS Flight version. I'd like to open gmap for Flight in full screen on my second monitor, the 400*600 (yes I exagerate ) or so GMap window is too often too small for a good use, even if I cannot start my MS Flight without it
March 24, 201313 yr Hello Wouldn't the problem of orientation of the bandwidth available on Google map? JML
March 24, 201313 yr Author Well I flew three more flights this morning, grabbing some permanent aerocaches I previously did not have. Each flight, the GMap aircraft icon was oriented properly. So for me, since grabbing the August re-release of GMap for Flight, it appears to have solved this issue. I was previously running the July release. Perhaps temporary I don't know, but so far so good. Don B
March 24, 201313 yr Hello Wouldn't the problem of orientation of the bandwidth available on Google map? JML As I said above twice :-P there is a free FSX version of GMap that has the same "widget" interface, and anoter one from which you can change the size of the window, so I don't think so... It would be nice to just have this interface for the Ms Flight version...
