Interesting problem occurred while mid-flight. My Virtual Cockpit just disappeared. I had to switch to 2D Panel.

Dissapeared entirely? or just became see-through with a few buttons and screens visable but seeming to float in an invisible cabin space?

 

The second option is a Video Card (and wierdly can be excasserbated by Sound Driver/Card related issues) - The first option ... I got no idea.

Are you sure you did not just move yourself out of it by mistake?

Do you use EZDOK camera?

Try adding

HIGHMEMFIX=1

to the fsx.cfg file under the graphics section.

I submitted a ticket for a very similar issue and this was the fix they gave to me.  Worked like a charm.
