Adding not supported airport for AES

Featured Replies

I know that Aerosoft always releases new airport enhancement services pack with new airports supported, but I don't know why Taxi2Gate haven't made support for AES with their new Bratislava Airport. I bought GSX (Ground Services X), because I believed with that will work as a dream, and did, until several clicks.Because, I have to run my FSX in compatibility mode (XP) if I do not then FSX crashes. I have the proper version of uiautomationcore.dll with FSX can run smooth and without crashes. BUT the GSX can't run with compatibility mode enabled. I asked them how to run in that mode but they said: " I should not run in compatibility mode" but trust me, I must. My FSX always crashes if I don't have in that mode.

So my last chance is that if somehow I could make that airport supported in AES.

I have Windows 7 64bit.

My QUESTION is how can I do that?

Not possible !

Has to be made AES compatible by Taxi2gate first, then Oliver will have to add it to AES.

Edit: Just checked the Taxi2gate forums. Doesn't look like anyone has asked for it to get the AES touch in FSX. So maybe that should be your first stop, since it's already requested on the Aerosoft forum.

I mean, I asked the FsdreamTeam about my problem with GSX and compatibility mode. Now I'm gonna ask taxi2gate that they're how about to make it AES compatible.

Thanks, you made it clear :)

There is no reason you would need to run compatibility unless you have a problem with the setup and config of fsx or your computer. What kind of crashes are you getting?

I'm getting crashes like: I'm preparing for pre-start and e.g. I forgot something to write down and I had to push windows button to look something and I want to go back into the game and just don't let me. And yesterday I tested that, I loaded the PMDG 737NGX @Bratislava Airport and I went out of the game (with using GSX) then back, and I could do that 4-5 times then I could not get back. This happened without crashing but game running in background, I tried pushing ALT+Enter to made it windowed but I just saw black screen without sounds.

This could not happen with using AES, this is why I asked how can I edit files in AES to make that airport supported.
