Scenery global

 good day to all, as the lack of response in the group on facebook ms flight, I offer you this question.

In ms flight there is a method to install planes and scenery for FSX world?

I unzipped the file. packs and surprise, I find myself in exactly the same folder of FSX.

I must say one thing knowing that ms flight would be a failure, they could at least make it compatible with FSX (scenarios planes etc..).

I hope that in the future some programmer to finish.

Thank you.

Nothing from FSX is directly compatible/loadable.

As Brandon said, the two sims are not compatible. You cannot use assets from one in the other.

Thank you.

you think they will do something to make it compatible?

Hopefully microsoft doing some patch to make it compatible with FSX.

Boys but curiosity in ms flight flies only in Hawaii and in Alaska, only these scenarios?

They won't, because that requires development. As a community, we may be able to make it compatible. But first, we will most likely need to create an SDK from scratch.

good evening, but I wonder what fun we only fly in Alaska and Hawaii, not tired after a while even if there are missions?
I think they are crazy to microsoft, program a game and then delete it, I wonder how much it cost him only programming that in general.
Among other things, a title called as "flight simulator" a famous title, where every two years a new series coming out.
The spectacular graphics engine, without microscatti etc..
I think the basic problem was to create multi-platform for xbox.
Usually a multi-platform game is never born well, apart from those of football, because we must respect the time of programming that.
Ms flight and was a game to earn not to invest, as the old series.
Simply had to either release the game in the entire box full of everything, or use the strategy of x-plane, a base with the continent according to the language you use.

I heard orbx will release shortly before June ftx global, textures remind me very ms flight, to restore life to FSX, and also mentioned waiting for flight simulator 2013.

Well certainly there are a few of us, still having fun with Hawaii and Alaska. A lot of territory there to cover, and lots of nice scenery to see.

I myself have logged over 200 hours in Flight and still find new stuff to do. Early on I did missions, then challenges, then I did jobs for quite a while,  heck just recently I started doing the aerocaches - so I am enjoying a whole new aspect for me. Not only are they fun, but informative as well. I like taking the time to do the research and plan my flight to get me to them.

And I have not even begun to learn VOR flying with it yet, and have been meaning to do that for some time.

And now thanks to Stonelance for his add on manager program, we have some talented folks here creating some new liveries for our planes, adding some nice variety.

As far as MS,  they have shelved future development for Flight,  but certainly have not deleted it. If they had, we would not be able to connect to the MS server for Flight and they certainly would not be providing new aerocaches as they have been.

Who knows if there will come a time in the future, that MS decides to resume production in Flight - some of  us are very hopeful, but only time will tell. In the meantime, I suspect there will be several that will still continue to enjoy Flight, for what it does offer us.

Riccardo - Thanks for your interest, but MS Flight is what it is.  This has been discussed ad nauseum in the forums for many months now and we've moved on.

We enjoy what we have regardless of the limited terrain.  We now are able to add repaints to the aircraft hanger, we still aerocaches, we still have missions and jobs, and we still have the stunning scenery that Flight provided. At this point, we don't know what the future holds so we keep using what we have.

If you're interested in the history of Flight and the forums, please do a search and you should have all you would want to read.

Thank you.
