March 30, 201313 yr Guys, I think I've got a problem... My copy of Acceleration was purchased and DOWNLOADED directly from Microsoft, who it seems, no longer provide that service. It also seems I never backed up the folder called 'XPack', which contains the Acceleration version of the SDK. Anyone know how I might re obtain this, as I don't believe my SP2 SDK will work? Any help much appreciated. March 31, 201313 yr Thanks Jim, but the SP2 SDK doesn't work correctly with Acceleration:-( FS Developers.com has detailed instructions on how to install SP2 SDK if you are having problems, but, are you clairvoyant? You haven't bought Acceleration yet but you already know the Acceleration SP2 SDK will not work correctly? I have to agree though that it's hard to get it functioning correctly after the first or second installation. I recently went through the process and had a hard time getting AS2012 to work properly (got simconnect crash). I think it was the third time it worked. Best regards, Jim Sorry Jim, you missunderstand.... I've had Acceleration for a long time. I bought it from MS as a download. March 31, 201313 yr Sorry Phil for the misunderstand. I failed to read your OP or look at it more closely. My scanner (brain) is not working so well as I do some fast scanning and reading. March 31, 201313 yr Author Hi where is the Xpack folder located as i want to back it up. Is it safe to install SDk SP1 and 2 as I have Gold? Depends exactly how you bought it. My Acceleration was a download, and within the main folder was one named XPack. That is what I've lost;-( Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)

March 31, 201313 yr Author No, the XPack would not be in the FSX installation folder. It should be a separate folder (or zip file) within the source data. Mine wasnt 'Gold' though, so could be diferent.
