March 31, 201313 yr Hi, all of a sudden when im about 10 miles out of klas fsx crashes. no matter where im coming from or even if im just flying over. this has never happened only until recently. does anyone know why or how to fix it? Thanks, Brad Brad Scullion
March 31, 201313 yr I am not 100% sure, but I think its an FSX RAM issue. The NGX and FSDT scenery are highly demandin and with all the other stuff (surrounding scenery, traffic etc..), FSX can run out of RAM. I am pretty sure FSX can only use 4GB of RAM. Mitchell Haughee
March 31, 201313 yr if it happens all the time at the same spot than it will be the scenery that's causing it, had a similar experience as you but I was flying from ksea to cyvr and always had a ctd at the same spot found out in the ftx forum it was some files in the orbox scenery that were at fault took those out and now its fine. If you just installed orbox the suspect bgl files would have been fixed. Also using the fdst airports klas and cyvr, klax Another possibility is that you got duplicates adfcad airport at klas that's causing it I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg
March 31, 201313 yr I flew a few flights in/out of LAS last night with the NGX and had no issues, never had any issues in fact. Alex Jevdic KORD/KHOT/KPWKA<380 love at first flight
March 31, 201313 yr Hello, When using FSDT airports, it might help if you check out the Addon Manager and Couatl for updates, these are required periodically to keep the system up to date. Just a thought. Richard Welsh. Richard Welsh

Thanks, Brad Might I suggest checking out Word Not Allowed's page ( http://#####.wordpress.com/ ). Has some great info with regards to OOM (Out of Memory) crashes and what you can do to manage and hopefully prevent them. Hope it helps. March 31, 201313 yr Author Thanks for all the tip but I still don't understand, I mean I have couatl up to date and have well over enough memory AND even reinstalled windows recently and still got the same result without any duplicates of anything. I will try Kostas page though Brad Scullion
April 1, 201313 yr if your having ctds at the same location all the time than you have a scenery conflict somewhere I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg
