April 23, 201313 yr Anyone know what I need to do to get the antiskid warning lights off? Check list says "black" warning screen before takeoff and I can't figure this one out. Thanks Darcy
April 23, 201313 yr Did you turn on the anti-skid system? It's on the first officer's panel, easy to miss. April 23, 201313 yr Commercial Member LOL...can be a tad confusing I guess. Black/Blank meaning that there should be no caution lights that are illuminated, unless there is something which is INOP, which is not modeled in the version of the Dash. April 24, 201313 yr Author The black came from the normal checklist. I hate not knowing why the lights were on. I will check the FO panel on my next flight. Thanks for the help. I love this bird Darcy
April 24, 201313 yr Commercial Member You are correct that is where it is mention, and it means making sure that the caution panel does not have any illuminated caution lights. April 24, 201313 yr The antiskid switch is below the glare shield on the right side, you can see it in crosswind's signature picture above, the switch is above the far right hand monitor, the FO's PFD, the white mark on the picture... A Andrew Entwistle
April 24, 201313 yr Commercial Member Darcy,My apologies...I completely missed the question....I apparently seemed to have been running on fumes last night. The Anti-Skid switch is located in the right corner of the first officer's glare-shield. It is the only switch by it self, and has three positions. The position that you will find it in is the "OFF" position, hence the reason for the caution lights being illuminated on the caution light panel. The middle position is "ON", and the lights will extinguish at this time, and the top position which is spring loaded is the "TEST" position.
