TAXI & LANDING LIGHTS

Featured Replies

Hi,

Anyone know how to increase the brighness of the taxil and landing lights in FSX.  I use the PMDG 737 NGX in 2D mode and the lights are controlled by FSX and are pretty dim.  ANy cfg changes to increase the brightness?

Thanks

Rob

As far as I know, what you see from the virtual cockpit is coded directly into the cockpit model.

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

The VC is OK and the lights are bright.  It is the 2D mode that the lights are dim.  Any ideas how to change this?

Are you using the default light bmp files or a graphics addon like REX? It's possible it changed the halo file and that's why it appears so dim now. Make sure you are using the default.

I am using REX, but I have the lights unchecked so it should be the default that's working.
