May 5, 201313 yr Commercial Member I agree, very professional looking UI, much better than default. Nice work. Current system: ASUS PRIME Z690-P D4, Intel 12900k, 32GB RAM @ 3600mhz, Zotac RTX 3090 Trinity, M2 SSD, Oculus Quest 2.
May 5, 201313 yr Author I contacted the guy who made the xzp tool. Now I'm just waiting for a reply to see if he can offer a solution... btw, I was thinking if it's possible to create a small exe app that will randomly change splash screens each time I start fsx? I think it could be awesome. Until then, enjoy another splash screen featuring the Waco YMF5 with a gorgeous Castrol livery:
May 5, 201313 yr There was a similar tool long ago for FS9, it was fun actually. it even added the logo overlay to the photos. Real world CPL holder.
May 5, 201313 yr Author I think I found it: http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthread.php?245042-Splash-screen-randomizer-for-FSX That guy reported it works in FSX.

May 5, 201313 yr Author Ok, this program works but it's not programmed very wisely. It won't check if a picture was already used so it can show the same picture few times in a row until it hits a new picture. Damn, it must be super easy to write such program. All you have to do is program it to read files in a specific filename format, ie, dlgsplash_XX.bmp, so it will go in a loop rather than random pick a bmp file. This way you can ensure it will not show the same picture twice. I'm disappointed. <_<
