May 8, 201313 yr When attempting to start REX,PFE,FDC and 3D Real Cockpit Effect a message is popping up reading "Fatal Error: Unable to load jit Compiler: (mscorjit): file may be missing or corrupt. Please check or rerun setup". FSX is working perfectly. I have checked in C/Windows/System 32, and the mscorjit.dll is there. Now I'm at a loss what to try next. Would really appreciate any help. May 8, 201313 yr Just copy :- Fatal Error: Unable to load jit Compiler: (mscorjit): file may be missing or corrupt. Please check or rerun setup ....into Google and follow the results on the Microsoft Support sites. There's lots of them. As an afterthought - you might also type sfc /scannow into the search window above the start button. This will fix any MS system files which may be missing or corrupt. i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
May 9, 201313 yr Author Thanks Paul, still cant fix this problem. Searched the web via Google as you suggested, most results required downloading of testers that scan the computer then want payment to fix the "errors". I already have one installed that cant fix the issue. Also tried your afterthought without success. I have the Windows 7 Ultimate installation DVD and wondered if I can use this to replace any faulty files, or replace the whole system 32 folder. Would appreciate further help from anybody reading this.

May 11, 201313 yr The following link indicates this is a Microsoft.net problem with Version 1.1 SP1 - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/926065. FSX and Acceleration requires dotnet version 1.1 installed and kept up-to-date (usually installed on your system when you install FSX if it is not found). It might not be installed properly. You can go to the following link and run the tool to see if your version is properly installed - http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2008/10/13/8999004.aspx.
