JF Traffic 360 or My Traffic X 2013?

Featured Replies

Looking to get a new traffic package, been using My Traffic X 5.4b (ish) and happy, my question is can anyone give me their thoughts pros and cons on Just Flights Traffic 360 and My Traffic X 2013.

Thanks

Rich

I can't comment on Traffic 360, I don't use it, but if you're using MTX 5.4b already, definitely don't get MTX2013. That's just a repackaged (and boxed) version of MTX 5.4, but with less features. Also, simmarket, who sell both products, suggest not to buy MTX2013, but 5.4 instead. Btw, they got a nice comaprison table between the various current versions of My Traffic here (you'll need to scroll down a bit).

I'm currently using mytraffic 2013 having stopped using traffic 360 because of a minor issue with the taxi cars crashing my small aircraft, Traffic 360s textures are better for the most part, but neither are exceptional, mostly to save on framerates. I like the variety of non airliner traffic that I have seen in 2013. There is non airliner traffic in 360 but not to the extent that I have found in the other.

I'd stick with MTX5.4b too - according to Burkhard, there will be a new update 5.5 coming in the not too distant future.

I wouldn't change. I went the other way to 5.4b and am much happier. I didn't see much (if any) of an improvement over Traffic X (same horrible 767 and sounds) in 360 and it drove me off in search of alternatives.
