May 17, 201313 yr hehehe... I hope Tim is reading, his work is phenomenal. I'd be surprised he hasn't had a look. The 3D clouds could be a hurdle though. Just imagine if he could pull it off.
May 17, 201313 yr Author Do NOT buy this XPlane aircraft....!!!! Carenado has problems with this XPlane version. The main avionics display winks in and out in 64 bit mode---NOT COMPATIBLE, even though they state it is on their website! I have had many times loaded up this plane, and FPS crawls to 2-3, or XP freezes and/or outright crashes. Avionics go blank, and then come back on, or not at all. The ASPEN horizon element goes blank except for the base background colors. The prop graphics has problems in rendering Quite disappointing. Should of kept the 30 bucks in the jeans.... :( I have the latest download from their website which states that if you download this product after March/13, you have the latest version.....

I have the latest download from their website. So we lower our glasses
May 17, 201313 yr Don't panic  . Have a look to this workaround. I think this is "only" a problem in Windows (but I'm not absolutely sure), AFAIK it will fixed completely in XP10.30. My sceneries (excerpt): LPMA Madeira (XPFR), LGSR Santorini, LRBV Brasov, the city of Fürth (Germany), several libraries, ...
May 17, 201313 yr Author So we lower our glasses :lol:Yep...pour out the glass.... The main avionice display looses all rendering only leaving the background halves in the display. I have had upon start-up prop graphic flashes, etc. On two load occasions, I have had FPS crawl, or out-right freeze of sim. Nothing like this before I installed the Bonanza. I will have to contact Support, but I am disappointed that these problems should be there...did they test this or not?!? Don't panic  . Have a look to this workaround. I think this is "only" a problem in Windows (but I'm not absolutely sure), AFAIK it will fixed completely in XP10.30.Bummer, wish I would have seen that sooner, :( Ok...that is what is happening....the great memory sucking sound. If it is not a Carenado specific problem, then I will retract my DO NOT BUY comment. Consider it retracted, but I probably would not have bought at this time, unless I saw that this was in fact corrected. When I used the 32 bit, my system DID display a soon-to-be O.O.M. stall and crash. Again...bummer....
May 17, 201313 yr Same with their CT210 Centurion with 64 bit. Parked up till XP10.30 gets released. The work around only works for a lttle time till the OOM starts with a bigger airport arrival. Trevor Golding
May 17, 201313 yr the Airbus 320neo 64bit also has the same problem........wait until 10.30beta cycle

Blanket statement; If you want to port your great FSX programs over to the XP 10 engine, then I will again, pony up and buy into it. I'm afraid, you have to go to the subforums (if any) of the above mentioned devs in the MSFS area (and praise XP B)), as I suppose they don't read here. As Philipp - yes, THE (one and only :Tounge:) Philipp of the CRJ200 and 777 team, mentioned in a german forum: if you are asking some FS devs for X-Plane, they look to you :Hypnotized: as if you were an :h0120: . Probably they aren't this wrong , in regard of how much XP is ahead in many (especially the FLIGHT simulation relevant) features. I just tried to load it up at another airport, and got graphic anomalies, withXP10 locked up.The Bonanza is parked.....
May 17, 201313 yr To be honest, the LUAJIT OOM bug is Laminar's problem. This should have been given code RED priority. A fumble if I've ever seen one, cripes, it may become a blooper! 10.30 is rather late in my opinion... Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.
May 17, 201313 yr Lucky we are that X-Plane is not "stable", but gets permanent updates. My sceneries (excerpt): LPMA Madeira (XPFR), LGSR Santorini, LRBV Brasov, the city of Fürth (Germany), several libraries, ...
