I'm curious though with it's MSRP why would someone opt for this over say an entry level jet like an Eclipse 550 which is significantly cheaper up front (or an even less expensive Cirrus Vision SF50 when it becomes available)? Are the flight costs that much higher? I mean, it still burns Jet A and at a rate of 50+ GPH I would think it's not exactly cheap to operate...
May 18, 201313 yr <p>VLJ's like the mustang would have way higher maintenance and insurance cost. Training and type rating cost with multi added to that. 5 days at simcom, 50 hours with a inst. in plane, and your good to go with the Meridian and TBM.</p>
