June 17, 201312 yr So with the release of a great KIAD scenery I decided to fire up the NGX and arrive in style. Today I took a Privatair 737-700 over from Dusseldorf to Washington. You join me in the first image at FL235 climbing to our cruising altitude of FL370, with such a light load we are able to really get high up there on what is a long 737 route, the fuel just about works for us but maybe a BBJ would of done it better. The flight would take us off runway 05R at Dusseldorf on a MODRU3Z departure to the west, over the channel, Southern UK, Ireland and across the Atlantic on NAT Foxtrot. Following this we'd route down the Eastern coastline of the USA before going further inland to finally begin our arrival into Washington on the Philipsburg Two via the Lancaster VOR (LRP) Somewhere above Western Germany! The Philipsburg Two Arrival via LRP and also the ILS 19R we'd be taking later. Taking out the Autopilot now, notice the disappearance of SINGLE CH to FD, showing that the FD is now only providing guidance. And just after touchdown I chose 19R for a reason (nowhere near the terminal), so I could have a look around this great scenery! And here we are on stand! Lawrence Ashworth

I am currently using ENB, I have used SweetFX but I can't quite hit the effects like I want with that but more recently I've used it in conjunction with ENB to sharpen things up with Lumasharpen, not quite got it how I want though yet. The scenery is Flightbeams KIAD that has just been released -> http://www.flightbeam.net , Sky textures etc are REX Essentials "Nice Day" and Cloud textures "Cumulus 63". I can't quite remember the textures for the ground but I have recently installed a summer set available here in the Avsim library by Aime Leclercq which should be the ones, the earlier textures during the departure is VFR Germany West 2010 from Aerosoft.
