Hi mate

here you go

in your fsx.cfg

[Main]HideInfoText=1

steve

Sorry for hijacking the topic... I was also looking for something similar..

Steve,

Do you happen to know if we can play with the timers? In general, or individual?

For example for how long the zoom factor text remains on the screen, how long the title of the view remains...etc...

Thanks.

Regards,

Vital Vanbeginne

I think you need to experiment with ChangeTime and TransitionTime in the FSX.cfg for that.

A few other changes you might want to make for movie making:

[Display]

InfoBrakesEnable=false

InfoOverspeedEnable=false

InfoStallEnable=false

They will be gone as soon as you use the HideInfoText line in your config file.

Yes, that's true. I've been using ChangeTime=0.000000 and TransitionTime=0.000000 to remove the upper right text because I still want it to show Slew and Pause.
