Hi John,

I just got home( 0.03 AM) and I have to wake up at 6.30 AM, so no time to read the whole post (but I couldn't resist to have a peek at the forum) . Back home on tuesday.

That MCP looks nice. I will check it out later (I don't have an iPad).

Urgent need to go to (try) sleep now.

Have a nice weekend,

Hi Eddie,

a couple of more things to check.

1.Make sure you are using the Dual link DVI cable that came with the TH2GO to connect to the video card.  and that the green light on the unit is in fact on.  Try a different usb port,  don't share a port with controllers unless it's got it's own power.     In fact try unplugging your yokes etc. to test.

not enough power can cause problems.

2. Press alt + enter to see if it works in full screen mode.

3. The display mode you have is different from mine, and it's warning you that it's not appropriate for your set up.

I have something like 60hz ( input 59 ).

Even though Matrox recommend this, some monitors do not like 50hz.  mine do not.  Change the display mode.

One thing that I did when troubleshooting a problem was to change the cables around (plug the center monitor into the left monitor slot, etc. to help me determine if it was a problem with the monitor, the TH2Go or what.)  Have you gotten all three monitors working outside of FSX yet?  If so, try renaming fsx.cfg to fsx.cfg.bak and letting fsx build you a new one.

Hi everybody,

just got back from a short holiday break. I will check out the forum more thoroughly later on.

Until then, happy landings

You also need to have Wide View Aspect = True in the Fsx config if you haven't done so already.

Hello everybody,

latest development: last night I wanted to update the firmware of the Matrox triplehead2go to be shure to have the latest version of it because things aren't not yet fully to my satisfaction. After following the indicated steps during the update (did nothing wrong), in the end I had to restart the computer, which I did. And that was the end of it ! :( Crash. I had to run a recovery (F11) to reinstall my whole system (which took almost 3 hours) and now I have to (download and)  reinstall everything. Naturally all my addons and settings for everythings that had to do with simmings were gone. Pfff...

After I have installed everything again I will give it one more try to get the whole Matrox thing working as it should, and otherwise it will be for sale on the 2nd hand market because it gave me much more trouble than pleasure until now.

Wait and see..................???

Thanks again for the support guys, just a pity not having the desired result (until now)

Regards,

Eddy

FS9 Driver

To solve this problem is easy........first go to the Matrox web site and go to updates.......put in your computor details and it will tell you what to down load....

First  download the hardware update..then the software update IE:- Drivers...install first the Hardware update then the software update.......reset your computor and set up your resolution to 5760x1080..thats 3x1920x1080 which is the split over the 3 monitors...also you may need a program called matrox SGU download it and run it and follow the instrutions for FSX......you will have to run the Matrox config to set it all up correctly on your monitors.....I hope that helps..if you have any problems let me know.....

                                                  Regards Viper.
