July 9, 201312 yr Would this not be tied to the draw distance, or is that just constrained to weather? I do believe in the scenery section, levels of detail, autogen, mesh detail, etc could help this guy. July 9, 201312 yr I am not an expert, but am pretty sure that the OP is talking about Level Of Detail (LOD). An airplane's LOD is built into the model and I do not believe there is any way to adjust it. I think that LOD is tied to how many pixels a plane covers, and if so, changing your screen resolution would affect it. That is an FS9.cfg entry, though you can just as easily use the sim settings and change it on the fly....pun intended. regards, Joe The best gift you can give your children is your time.
July 10, 201312 yr If you mean terrain settings in the cfg file, here is a good forum thread: http://www.realenvironmentxtreme.com/forums/index.php?/topic/16095-fs9-settings-addons-that-give-the-best-results/ Hope this helps, Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
