Is this a good plane?

Featured Replies

Is the F33 a nice plane? I currently use the A36, but I am not liking the Aspen and it takes away a bit of the fun. I have the RealityXP. Is the F33 fitted with the RealityXP a nice plane to fly. What is the difference between the F33 and the A36?

(F33) has heavier fps (?)

There are several big differences that make the F33A a great airplane:

1.) The FDE has been reworked and upgraded by the highly respected Mr. B. Stolle;

2.)  This aircraft does not have the 3D gauges thereby offering the ability to use the RXP FLT (or is it FLN?) instruments that include HSI, AI, ASI, ADF.

3.)  The RXP G430 fits nicely; I don't think the 530 will fit as well. I'd like to find a panel.cfg that might support twin 430's.

4.)   The highly respected Mr. Bert Pieke has offered several upgrades to significantly improve the original Carenado release.

The F33 is my favorite plane, but I would recommend my autopilot fixes - and if you
have them, the Reality XP FLT gauges for this airplane. It will look great, and be a joy to fly.

Having said that, I have also developed some fixes for the Aspen in the A36, and if you turn off
the clutter on the gauges, they are certainly usable - I just find the analog cockpit of the F33
more to my liking.

Send me a PM with your email address and I can send you both.
