C90 or B200 for FSX

Featured Replies

For quite some time, I have been trying to decide between the C90 and B200 for FSX. I have a couple questions that I hope you guys can answer to help me choose. First, which is better made by Carenado? Second, which has better framerates? Third, which one is more enjoyable to fly in the sim? I am aware of the real life differences between the two when it comes to airspeed, range, etc.

Thanks,

Jason

The C90 and B200's cockpits are nearly the same. I will say the c90 is way better on the frames the b200 isn't bad but in the air my frames are in the low 20's on my system to compare to another heavy addon I get 30 fps in the ngx in the air. I would get the c90!

It also depends on whether you own an RXP 430, a 530 or two 530s..

The C90 takes one 430, and the B200 ideally two 530s for full realism.

Personally, I like the B200.

Thanks for the responses. Bert, I don't own the RXP 430 or 530.

If you don't own the RXP 430 or 530 I think we can guess what your next purchase may be. The price seems high but what you get is a real life honest to god clone of the working units. It makes all the difference to me as I have used them both in real life. They function almost identically to the real ones. As far as a choice, I have them both. It is kind of like the airbus family, if you can operate one you have little or no problem operating the other. I like the 90 and the 200 the same. The 90 is starting to show its age. It is still a stable aircraft and is a ton of fun to fly. So in my honest opinion you can't possibly go wrong with either. You will get one and the next thing you will know, you will have the other. Good luck Cpt out.
