Here is a nice early morning commuter shuttle service from MDSD Las Américas International Airport located in Punta Caucedo near Santo Domingo and Boca Chica in the Dominican Republic to KMIA Miami International Airport located eight miles northwest of downtown Miami.

Jet Blue A320 was taxiing to runway for flight to KJFK while the L1011 in background was being boarded with KMIA bounded passengers

Still in middle of climb to FL360 passing Samaná Bay (Spanish, Bahía de Samaná) exactly just below the engine which is famous for beautiful beaches and dolphins as well as humpback whales who like to visit this bay from northern, cold waters to Samaná Bay to breed during late winter and early spring.
