Tokyo Narita RJAA in Production!

Recommended Posts

Wow thanks! Any idea the size of the area it covers?

Pretty much all of Tokyo city... I don't think it extends all the way to Narita, but maybe he'll update it once Narita is released. He seems to update this scenery every few months.

He also has Yokohama (which you should use along with Tokyo city) Osaka, Kobe, Nagoya, and Kyoto

I think the Facebook pics look fairly descent. I pass through RJAA regularly so this is exciting to the extent that the FS community will finally have this staple Asian aerodrome in detail. I'll probably shell out the dough. The 777LR is helping to create a more robust global ecosystem of fields. Good times.

This is what I am talking about

With Haneda airport, Tokyo would look awesome!

I have not tested these freeware Haneda here

I saw this payware phtoscenery for Tokyo.. They are low resolution and no autogen so they look dreadful.

But what if we add the freeware Tokyo over this photoscenery? Could we get something? Hmmm...

Mt Fuji freeware?

I usually don't comment on pricing since its an economic decision by a vendor... ...but 41 Euros for this?

WOW! Can we compare this with Fly Tampa's OMDB (Dubai) of 30 Euros? And people were complaining about the awesome and detailed PMDGs 777 pricing?

For that kind of money I expect Fly Tampa quality for not just the NArita, but also the city of Tokyo and Haneda with high resolution textures and autogens for the city.

:P

Although the airport buildings and runway and taxiway textures look good, the airport phiototextures are very poor.. low resoluition. But  It is a big airport..maybe its priced for the Japeanese audience who have no other choice?

Unless its on sale for $25 its a pass for me

It's probably a small developer who wont get as many sales as someone making a more popular American or European airport. So I can understand a higher price. Looks great to me, I will definitely be buying this in the next few weeks.
