July 23, 201312 yr Hello, Any Citation X drivers out there? Is there away to control the taxi speed while taxiing? As soon as I release the breaks the jet automatically accelerates. Even when the throttle is idle. Thanks for any help. Sent from Droid RAZR M using TapaTalk 2 John R. Miller III Flight Sim Enthusiast Since FS2000
July 23, 201312 yr This is correct, use brakes as they do in real life. For what it matters I also use the friction lua with fsuipc, that makes it a little more stable in taxiing. Cheers, Dirk.
July 23, 201312 yr Author So it does that in real life? I didn't know that. Thanks for the reply! Sent from Droid RAZR M using TapaTalk 2 John R. Miller III Flight Sim Enthusiast Since FS2000
July 23, 201312 yr It has powerful engines that can push the plane forward even at idle seems like a design problem for Cessna! Haha - - Tommy - -
July 23, 201312 yr Just checking, what's your idle N1? If I keep my engines idle it won't start to taxi, engines will be around 25% N1 or a bit lower. If your engines are between 40-50% N1 at idle, it's an issue with the jet and FSUIPC.

July 23, 201312 yr Its not uncommon to see a Citation X taxi by with one TR deployed, to slow taxi speeds... its a powerful aircraft. A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools. - Douglas Adams, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
July 23, 201312 yr N2 is at 70% and N1 is at 40% Sent from Droid RAZR M using TapaTalk 2 Yeah, that's probably the bug with FSUIPC. You have to open up FSUIPC4.ini and change "AxesWrongRange=No" to "AxesWrongRange=Yes" and see what your idle N1 is at then.
July 23, 201312 yr I don't have that issue with mine. However when I first got it the throttles weren't correct and I couldn't get them below around 40%. I had to play with FSUIPC to get everything working right. "Why, he just jumped into the air and kept right on going."
July 23, 201312 yr Author Ah ok. I will play with the FSUIPC.INI and hope that works. When I get home from work that is. Sent from Droid RAZR M using TapaTalk 2 John R. Miller III Flight Sim Enthusiast Since FS2000
July 24, 201312 yr Author I have fixed the throttle issue!!! I had to calibrate it in the fsuipc. Thanks for the awesome helps guys!!! Sent from Droid RAZR M using TapaTalk 2 John R. Miller III Flight Sim Enthusiast Since FS2000
