Always rain droplets on my windows

Featured Replies

I noticed this today, flying in the dark, CAVOK and TAT -24 at FL370. I switched to an EZdok outside view and there was a few raindrops covering "the view".

Back inside i noticed small droplets moving along my windows. Is there anywhere to reset these effects?

Thanks,

Weird..maybe post a pic because there shouldn't be rain effects...

Thanks Lee, this is very strange. I've just came out from a 6 months NGX hiatus. I've only been flying MD-11X, J41 and the Realair Duke since January.

Can't remember if I ever had this on the NGX before. Doesn't the NGX have rain effects on the windshields at all? I can post a picture, it is clearly animated waterdrops that I see.

It could be me drewling on the monitor because of my new found love for the NGX though :)

The NGX only has rain drop effects if your flying using the 2D panels. If your in the VC and you have rain drops on the windscreen then something is wrong as its not modeled for the VC.

Thanks Shawn, I'll change views back and forth a bit and see if I can get it to reset correctly.

Hehe, yeah, if it was raining :)

I started a flight with the Trike, added rain, went back to NGX and not a trace of rain in the VC, so I guess I am back with the rest of you :)
