American Airlines A319 En-Route to Dallas Ft. Worth

Looks like American Airlines first Airbus is on its way to Dallas!

 

Registration number is N8001N under AAL9707

Congratulations to AA on their newest jet.

 

That new livery is still taking a bit of getting used to, the tail on the AA 767 they send to DUB still hasn't gotten any less striking. I'm still taken aback by it 3 months on, but it's certainly American, you've got to give it that much at least...

I grew up in an American Airlines family. I've worked for US Airways or its' predecessors for the last 34 years. I see that livery in DFW every day and I still can't get used to it. The paint job is fine from the tail forward but the tail is hideous. They should have gone with something classier like solid blue with the AA/ eagle outlined in white.
