Did you try an hour later ?

Can you check that the traffic bgl is actually being placed by AIFP in the correct folder. It should be in scenery/world/scenery.

Peter Schluter

I see you have used a different airport ...KCVK not KCVX , but anyway that flightplan should work.

You are looking for it departing KMCD at 8.00 am local time/13.00 GMT ?     And try an hour either side of that.

When you go to KMCD are there any other AI aircraft there ?  The default AFCAD only has 5 parking spaces

Just me and some static aircrafts i placed no activity here lol

yes AIFP is placing it in the correct folder Scenery/World/Scenery I dint try an hour later i will try that now

still no luck any ideas anyone??

Here's a stupid question.

Do you have the aircraft installed?

Do the airports have enough parking, properly sized for the airplane?

Also, don't go to the airport at the departure time, go there 15 minutes earlier.

If departure is 8:00, try 6:45, 7:45 and 8:45.

Joe

UPDATE Ok guys i got it to work now but at a different Airport Instead i chose a default airport ICAO KCVX for departure looks it doesn't work for KCMD i did modified did modified this airport could be something im missing perhaps i messed up with the gates i can post a screen shot of the afcad i made for the airport im sure it has something to do with the AFCAD i created....

This is KMCD the airport that doesnt show my custom AI perhaps i did something wrong when i modified this airport any suggestions?

Aircraft.txt AC#1,180,"AI Cessna 402A Generic3"
Airport.txt KMCD,N45* 51.89580',W84* 38.24120',741
KCVK,N36* 15.89230',W91* 33.75850',715

FlightPLan.txt /FSXDAYS=FALSE
AC#1,5868,1%,24Hr,VFR,13:00,17:20,800,R,5268,KCVK,18:40,22:39,800,R,5268,KMCD

I do believe that your assigned cruise altitude is very very wrong! 800 = eighty thousand feet! Should read 80, that would equal 8,000 ft. I hope that makes the difference and your aircraft shows up. Other than that I can't see much at fault with plan.

Try this text replacement:

FlightPlans_AI Cessna 402A Generic3.txt

AC#1,5868,1%,24Hr,VFR,13:00:00,00:00:00,80,R,5268,KCVK,18:40:00,00:00:00,80,R,5268,KMCD

Allow the compiler to fill in the new arrival times.

Update: See you have it working - sort of.

Any airport must have at least a Unicom radio frequency assigned to it for AI to work at that airport.

Mel

Hello Joe thanks for the reply LOL im new at all this haha im thinking perhaps the te gate type as i see i added RAMP GA only gates for this airport could that be the reason?

Check you modified airport with what ever tool you use. As per my last post: Look in the Comm or Com section to see what is or is not listed and also make sure you don't have a duplicate floating around in FS9 somewhere. If you are using one of the newer airport tools, did you remember to import the stock data?

Just Re-checked i noticed there are no {Ramp GA Small} gates at my modified airpot i simply copy pasted all the {RAMP GA} instead to save time can that be the problem?

With the exception of user aircraft:

Actually the general aviation AI get first preference when it comes to parking. Example; You have 1 gate spot, 1 cargo spot and 1 GA medium spot. If you have three GA aircraft that are supposed to be at that airport when you start FS9 and the time is set, then those three will take all three of the available spots and any commercial / cargo will not appear because they have no parking available. Only when there is enough ramp parking for all GA to be on the ground at the time of start up will the other aircraft start to fill in the available gate and cargo type spots. Short answer to you question is 'no'.

How do i go about importing Stock Data?

My apologies i was wrong this still doesn't work even with the Stock Data by removing my modified AFCAD and just leaving the default Stock data the aircraft still doesn't show up at this airport but within the same created flight plan i added another aircraft to appear at a different airport and it does so definitely something with this airport

Which airport editor are you using?

Please repeat the ICAO codes for the airports you have tried using.

I looked at the default: KCVK, KCVX and KMCD. I found nothing that should prevent them from working. Did you write "no GA at all" or just not the flight you are working on? (Sorry if you have already answered that once)

In the aircraft configuration file of the aircraft that is not showing to make sure the [fltsim.n] section is properly numbered starting with 0 to nnn consecutively. My hunch it is a problem with the AI or the flight plan still has a flaw. What type is the aircraft that does work?

HAHAHA Problem Solved, this is what happens when your still a rookie lol i had all my parking spot radius in ft at 5.00 lol dint think it made a difference but now i know it does thank you guys for your help and thanks Joe for mentioning about the parking size set to fit the aircraft

Found out that the Cessna c182 wasn't showing up because it wasn't installed on my system that's why it wasn't showing up at the stock airport, so i then set it to AI Cessna 402b same as i used at the other airport and it showed up on both stock airports.

I then tried placing the modified  AFCAD I created BACK into the scenery folder ( after removing to test the stock airport)  and the aircraft stop showing up at KMCD so i looked at the GA parking spot size and compared it to the stock, Radius was 32.81 FT something like that, mines was at 5.00ft i then changed it to 32.81 and now everything works

Im still a rookie at this but learning as i go along i dint think changing the radius value would  affect it just dint want all the parking spots to be on top of one another witch is why i set it to 5.00ft in radius size

Glad you got it solved!
