Hello,

 

When using pushback feature, it never ends.

After saying "BRAKES RELEASED", I am cleared to start engines.. I execute, both engines are started.

As pushback is still ongoing, I say "STOP PUSHBACK" and nothing happens. 

The green bar displays only "stop".

 

Is there another way to stop the pushback?

I should redo a training with speech recongnition. I have difficulties with many commands, not correctly recognized.

Yes, re-run the speech training, and maybe check your headset.

 

Generally speaking, you should expect 90 plus percent accuracy results.

 

I personally get much better than that but I have a pretty neutral accent.

Is there any reason the push back continues? Is it some kind of big or just how it works? Is there any measures one could take to avoid it happening (apart from not pushing back you comedians ;-). )

The pushback uses the stock Pushback commands from the Microsoft SDK.

 

The pushback always stops for me.

 

I'm wondering if it doesn't stop, how are you triggering it? 

 

1. Are you switching views during the pushback?

2. Are you running anything that may grab keyboard inputs?

3. Can you reproduce it everytime.

 

 

Remember if it doesn't stop just hit shift p.

3)yes every time with every config setup AES-on or off and p/b on or off etc etc

 

It's all very well and good stopping it with shift+P but often I'm checking gauges etc and I'm backing into building because I haven't stopped it manually.

 

I haven't tried pushing back with AES because it's more of a slew movement and looks awful, plus I have customs sounds for GSX. :-)

You're initiating the pushback with GSX?

 

Please try again cleanly... don't use GSX or anything.

 

And try not moving the view point at all in the VC.  Just keep everything totally still.

Well yes? I run through all the FS2Crew checklists until it's time to taxi press ctrl+shift+A to open GSX> press 5 to start push back> then 1 or 2 to choose direction.

 

Then period key to release brakes and ctrl+. To set them again.

 

I'll try again using AES see what happens.

But if you're using the FS2Crew pushback, why are you starting the pushback via GSX?

 

Sounds like you've got two separate pushbacks going at the same time, and of course that will monkey things up.

Not using FS2Crew pushback I just tried it with PB req. set to yes for a comparrison.

 

Tried one pushback with AES no GSX at all worked ok push stopped will try to repeat on the next flight.

Mine has started doing this recently as well.  Always used to work fine.

 

I follow the fs2crew voice process and always use GSX for pushback without issue until recently?

 

Also worth noting that this happens with the NGX as well.

Using the GSX pushback and the FS2Crew pushback at the same time is not really reocmmended.

 

You can always stop the pushback by hitting Shift P.

Hi,

 

the only thing I can think of that I am doing differently is to actually call out "Breaks Off" and then "Breaks On", not sure if that will make any difference or not, just seems strange as it's only just started to be an issue.

 

Will this Ultimate Ground Crew X be an FSX only or are you looking to venture into X-Plane world as well?
