today i noticed, that If I push the "Play Brief" Button for Approach, the Captain always confirmed Flaps 3 for landing. Thats strange, because at the MCDU I´ve selected Flaps full.

Isn´t the Approach Brief reading out the settings from the MCDU?

I'll check it and fix it for the next update if it's a bug.

 

Correct, brief reads data out of the MCDU.

I just tried to reproduce this and it worked perfectly.

 

Don't see any bugs.

 

Look at the Briefing Panel in the Approach Flaps section.

 

If you change the Landing Flap in the MCDU to either FULL or CONFIG 3, it should auto update in the Briefing panel.

 

If it doesn't, make sure your Airbus has all the latest updates from Aerosoft.

Hmm...

I do some more flights in the evening. I was quite shure that it shows FULL in the briefing Panel, but 3 on the voice.

Even if I change the setting in the MCDU, it changes correct in the briefing Panel, but remains 3 on the voice :( Maybe to much coffee in the flightdeck

I´ll check again and hope you´re right My Bus is up to date.

I did some more flights, and took two Pictures where you can see, that the Briefing page is updating the flaps correctly with the Information from the MCDU. This works perfect.

But during the Voice briefing, the Pilot always makes a "Flap 3" landing no matter if you set "FULL" in the MCDU or "Config 3". 

Can you please check again

yeah i can confirm this but it only happened to me when on my first leg i had a Flap 3 landing...on the return leg i changed it tu Full again but in the briefing he still said Flaps 3

Weird, it worked for me on the first leg.

 

Are you using saved panel states?  Sometimes those things can monkey things up.

Yeah it works for me on the first legs as well but not on the second (return leg) when i had a flap 3 landing at my first leg and change it back to Full on my second leg he keeps saying flaps 3 in the second leg`s approach briefing.

I`m always using Turnaround state at the first leg. But did not select any state for the return flight.

Its the same here.

I am also using turnaround state for the first leg.

So, to confirm, it works for the 1st leg for every one, but the problem only occurs on the 2nd leg?

for me that is the case... only happens on the 2nd leg

All right, I did some more Test flights and this is my result:

 

Aircraft Status cold and dark, 1. Leg : Approach Briefing said ...Flaps 3, Briefing Panel shows Flaps FULL, although I elected Flaps Full in the MCDU

Aircraft Status Turn around, 2. Leg: Approach Briefing said: ...Flaps 3, Briefing Panel shows Flaps FULL, again I selected Flaps Full in the MCDU

Aircraft Status Turn around, 1. Leg: Approach Briefing said: ...Flaps 3, Briefing Panel shows Flaps FULL, again I selected Flaps Full in the MCDU

 

If I select Flaps 3 in the MCDU, It shows and says Flaps 3 on the Briefing panel, and at the Overhead the PNF sets Flap 3 landing. Here everything is ok so far.

So no matter what I do, i got always a Flap 3 landing confirmed from the Briefing panel.

 

Well, someone gave me a view scripts for diff. Briefings , so i decided to make the briefings by myself and can say what ever I want, hehe

The Problem is solved. Dont ask me how Maybe it was sitting in front the Computer. :(

Now the Approach Briefing is working like it should and is playing my Flap settings from the left MCDU.

I go and check for the 2. Leg now.

Hm funny enough now i got the wrong Config 3 Briefing on my first leg.... in the MCDU and also on the Briefing page it shows config full but he was reading config 3. Even replayed the briefing a 2nd time to confirm it
