August 6, 201312 yr ...I'm looking really for a new area to learn and fly... I know you originally said in the US, but you could try some of the great Ants Aussie Airports and OzX packages, for Australia. Re: The AI traffic, you should be able to edit some bgls, but I'm not sure if you want to muck around with the MyTraffic files. Re: The AI traffic, you should be able to edit some bgls, but I'm not sure if you want to muck around with the MyTraffic files. I actually agree with you there, I've got all the ORBX aus scenery and it's beautiful. Spent many a happy hour flying around Aus! Just wanting to get to know the US a little more now, never really flown there yet its from the US that most charts and airport information is freely available - hence the will to try the US out. August 6, 201312 yr I had a look at ADE - that I could master - however I'm also quite the 'eye candy' person, and as previously mentioned don't have the skills to make such a place! It doesn't get much easier than ADE. I use it to build private airports for my Air Hauler companies and it is both gratifying and fun once you catch the hang of it. Its not a question if you have the skills its a question if you have the capability to learn something new. Your asking quite a lot to have eye candy etc.
August 6, 201312 yr never really flown there yet its from the US that most charts and airport information is freely available I see what you mean about trying something new. If you like, I can see about knocking something up for you. Won't be able to do it that quickly, cos I'm busy with other stuff, but I could do some stuff. Regarding charts, the US is not the only place you can get good charts for, you just have to know where to look ^_^ http://www.airservicesaustralia.com/aip/current/dap/AeroProcChartsTOC.htm "If you can't solve and equation with calculus, you're not using enough calculus" - A wise friend

Thanks for the chart link, shall have a good look through them! James W
August 6, 201312 yr If you could get me some co-ords of the place where you want it, that would save me a heap of time hunting for a good place. I'll see what I can do, but no promises! "If you can't solve and equation with calculus, you're not using enough calculus" - A wise friend
August 6, 201312 yr Author Ok no problems, let me spend a little time searching for somewhere and I'll let you know where! Hi Ryan, Is somewhere like this do-able? https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=USA&ll=39.021051,-122.854614&spn=0.103492,0.250797&hnear=United+States&t=h&z=13 Somewhere around that lake would be the ideal. Many thanks, James W
August 6, 201312 yr I loved the looks of KHQM but alas I don't have PNW scenery Download the PNW demo scenery I think it comes w/ KHQM complete. It is geographically smaller than the payware PNW and the seasonal texture are limited to summer only. I used the demo for a while and liked it so much I stepped up to the full version recently. If you do that just remember to uninstall the demo before installing the payware version. ADE is cool too. A bit of learning curve like all capable software but I have created a lot of my familiar small GA airports that are bland in the default FSX. Slim
