August 8, 201312 yr Does anyone else have FSX crashes with Esdg's citation x v2 ? PMDG's work fine on my pc.. I bought Flight 1's B200 and it crashed, now the citation x.. ???
August 8, 201312 yr The ones crashing .... do they have something in common .. cockpit displays etc. Did you check you windows error log for the failing module? What version of windows do you have? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
August 8, 201312 yr Author Windows 7 64 bit Home version I'll get a crash log next time I run it.. Some of them are FSX Hang, module API.DLL .. I run PMDG JS4100 with never a crash..
August 8, 201312 yr Jim, you posted all is well with FSUIPC and CX2.0 the other day in our forums. B)
August 8, 201312 yr Author Yes, but I didn't want to open a ticket about it...until I have a better idea of just what is happening.
August 8, 201312 yr Author OK flew a complete flight today with no add-ons ( ATC, FSCaptain , etc ) No problems noted.
August 8, 201312 yr That is good news. "Did you check you windows error log for the failing module?" Just for info. The error log (Windows Event Viewer) keeps info for many previous days. You can today look at it and find out which modules caused a crash a week ago. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
August 9, 201312 yr Author So after work today I loaded the Citation X and after loading the Flt Plan from memory ( loaded using MS Load Flight Plan ) everything looked fine except when selecting departure info, there were no runways able to select in the FMS .. So I reloaded FSX and when the selection screen for Citation X options appeared , anything I selected caused FSX to crash... Next I removed via Add/Remove programs.. and reinstalled... Now all is well I flew using my Saitek radio panel using SPADS drivers and ProATCx with no issues.. So hopefully I have this one beat..
