August 13, 201312 yr I recently purchased Fs2crew for the Airbus Extended however it took me a while to get it working. As mentioned in the Fs2crew support pages, if you cannot hear the copilot there are a couple of steps to check, one of them being to check the audio setup on my computer. Took me a while to find where the issue was on my laptop but eventually found the settings to change........ needed to have a setting for left and right speaker enabled, Have been learning how to use Fs2crew over the last few days and in my opinion this is a professional piece of software. I have flown the airbus with the built in checklist since end of december but Fs2crew adds that much more to the realism. Thanks for the product Bryan and hope others are enjoying it as much as I do. August 13, 201312 yr Commercial Member Roy, Glad you like it! That's what makes doing this stuff worthwhile! Spread the word, and by the way, V1.1 is out now. Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
August 13, 201312 yr V1.1 is out already; that was quick, Bryan! To the OP: I like the refined procedures and exact phrases (for example, reading the Vspeeds aloud increases your awareness of the correct values more than the default 'checked' or 'set'). And basically remote-controlling your aircraft (using your voice to direct the first officer to push those knobs on the FCU) is quite a bit of fun: I use RadarContact ("button version available only") and I would still read back the clearances aloud - but in FS2Crew style. (Additionally I push the buttons required for RC to go on.) That way the FS2Crew F/O will work the FCU voice-controlled, according to the ATC instructions issued, while I'm interacting with RC using "button control". Add FS Captain to the game (primarily for interacting with your airline dispatch/ops) and you have the ultimate, multi-directional line-flying experience! What happened to AVSIM
