August 15, 201312 yr @ sw1959, thanks for sharing ... I hear you mate! Loving this plane, it just feels 'right' ... thanks for the 'push' jcomm, much appreciated!
August 15, 201312 yr Scot, curiously your experience is close to mine. The uncle of a coleague of mine was a former TAP captain, of the time of the DC3, DC6, Constellations... He flew the first Caravelle that server with TAP in the 60s !!! When he retired he decided to learn informatics, got a teacher, and after a while he was installing MSFS. The dc-3 was one of his preferred :-) but. This captain is also no longer with us, but I am sure he would love to test this LES dc-3 :-) Jcomm, that's really cool, Jimmy also flew the Connie and was full of stories of back in the day, he was also an instructor and would coach me and taught me to treat this as a tool and a simulator not a game. That is why I only fly the small ga's mostly the 152 and 172, birds I have learned to fly. I had just started my rw ground school when I lost him on my birthday in February. It was his dream for my to get my ppl and fly him around, now it's mine to fulfill a promise and to get into the sky to be a little bit closer to him. are there any tutorials out there that instruct on how to fly the dc-3? anyway cheers my friend, Scot swk1959
