General tip: read the manual.

Your answer is at page 108 of NGX Introduction manual.

Basically enter your V2 speed into the IAS column on the MCP (mode control panel) switch on the Flight Director and arm the autothrottle. Advance throttles to 40%N1 - if they are stable at 40 then press TO/GA button on the throttle. This will engage the autothrottles and they will automatically advance to your take-off N1 setting.

For a better guide you can read the introduction manual or fly one of the tutorial flights - these are great and will give you a very good and easy to follow guide to learning the NGX.

You know, there's a tutorial that comes with the aircraft that even has pictures!

I'd suggest that you check it out.  It's in the Start Menu > All Programs > PMDG Simulations > NGX Folder > Tutorial #1.

You'll learn how to set the throttle on takeoff and more.  I guarantee it.
