With all due respect, do you really think it would be viable and profitable for a company like PMDG to make a Cessna Grand Caravan with FLOATS specifically?

 

If you're after those types of aircraft, I suggest you look at Carenado :good:

I still bet, even though they would never make it, it would sell like hot cakes. PMDG fans would buy it cause its PMDG , and the GA guys would all jump on it also, cause it is PMDG making a plane that they like. Lol.

 

I honestly think, while not at all having a real chance to be made, that it would be sooooo profitable for them.

Carenado is doing a Cessna grand caravan EX, and I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't offer a float package as an addon!

Carenado is making a Cessna Grand Caravan EX, a float version is also extremely likely from them and their flight dynamics have improved a lot over the last 2 years. PMDG is not very likely to do a Grand Caravan, their main market focus are the jetliners as they the most popular section in FSX to fly (at least according to AVSIM through a poll I took over a year ago).

You never know. PMDG made the "Classic Series" out of the blue, they could make the GA series as another line of products. Cessnas would certainly be more accessible than 777s or 747s for data, too. 

I don't know. I think right now for those GA planes, Cessna types, is between A2A and RealAir. Both very good at what they do. Man, talking about that just made me want them to show some previews!

The Dash 8 was announced a few years back and nothing was said since. Hopefully it's still planned, but if it is, we won't be flying it for another couple of years at best.
