The incredible IFLY 737 has been updated again. What an incredible piece of software!

Here are a few of shots of yours truly flying the IFLY 737 v3.2 following J. Bucholz's  excellent RPN tutorial video LAS/BUR

So the iFly supports RTF (Radius-To-Fix) legs? Nice

So does the NGX, problem; is that nobody has the actual NavData for what those RF legs are (radius), so until we can get that data we truly cannot fly RNP in the sim, regardless of what Addons we are using.

To quote Jeremy Bucholz "As of cycle 1305, Navigraph now supplies the data for RF legs"

Nope.. It doesn't. Ryan said they probably won't be introducing ARINC424 until the 777 is released and maybe sometime in between that and the 747v2. Data such as radii and the centre points can be found in most countries AIP's.

I think someone posted here a whole ago on how to edit the Nav data to show RF legs, but I can't seem to find it now. Plus, it was a little in depth.

If you are referring to the NGX, the only way to do it is do make a 'co-location' fix on a 'radial' every 10deg from the centre fix. Therefore on a R-T-F leg which may be 40deg wide, it will have 4 fixes on it, instead of just to two and then the arc between those two

Aerosoft Lido has the RF legs on various approaches too. Good fun in the iFly which is an amazing product.

Great pics again, Ed.

Yep, awesome in the Aerosoft Airbus (as they are supporting ARINC424 and RTF legs)

I started coding the NZQN approaches in (as Lido didn't have the data).

What it looks like at the moment (sorry for hijacking your thread Ed!)... I suggest you try the RNP approaches into NZQN (Qantas and Virgin Australia fly the NG in). You can get the data for the iFly here (if your database doesn't contain it already).

James White

Really? I thought otherwise, thank you for correcting me.

Hello James, I would love to try the RNP approaches into NZQN. However they do not appear to be in the IFLY database.....and I cannot find them in your link either.

Oh yeah, damn. He had NZQN in his NGX coverage so I just assumed he had the same in his iFly package (next time I will look at the airport list...lol).

My apologies
