August 30, 201312 yr Moderator Hi there, I've been following most of the PFPX posts, but wanted to make sure I understand this first before purchasing. I usually fly with AS2012 and know how to plan a flight, interpret weather and choose an appropriate STAR and runway myself. My question is, if PFPX handles this for me, will the destination runway not only conform with wind conditions per AS2012, but will those runways also be used accordingly by AI? My biggest frustration with FSX is that I can plan all I want, only to find out that AI is using a different runway, probably because it's called for it by weather and AFCAD (sorry, I'm not too savvy on afcads). I'm hopeful PFPX scans all afcads to know which runways will be used based on weather conditions, so I'm not the only douche coming in from the opposite side and AI will therefore try to kill me ;-) I hope this makes sense and would appreciate any comments/experiences users have already had. August 30, 201312 yr What traffic program are you using? I use UT2 and simply reset the AI after the weather is done loading. That takes care of it for me.

August 30, 201312 yr I sure that PFPX will check the weather and the real runway operation with notam, navdata and sid&star but nothing related to FSX.
August 30, 201312 yr Make sure the option ATC Windlock is enabled in AS2012 and make sure you load your flight plan into AS2012 as well, the AI traffic should then be more predictable in their use of landing runway. Cheers, Andy.
