August 31, 201312 yr You may remember that in the FSX.cfg file there is a [TRUSTED] section but this does not appear to exist in the Prepar3D.cfg file. This means that every time I run P3D I get a warning "The module Flight1SoundStreamP3D.dll has not been tested for compatibility with the FS version you have installed." Is there a way to prevent this annoying message from Flight1 Sound Stream? Thanks Cheers, Mac
August 31, 201312 yr great little program but its buggy. FSX was crashing and viewer reported sound stream ZORAN
August 31, 201312 yr You do not need Soundstream for P3D the facility is built into the sim already, you just need to find it in the options and turn it on  And the only problem I have ever had with Soundstream (in FSX the only place it works) is that it only keeps FS sounds playing when its not in focus, so if I am using an add-on like the NGX for example which also has an external sound module to add some other sound effects not possible in the sim, those sounds are muted when the sim loses focus, but that's not a Soundstream problem that's the external sound module which hasn't been programmed to continue playing sound when the sim isn't in focus. Cheers, Andy.
August 31, 201312 yr Author Ten and raise you ten, Zoran. Not really I cheated and copied my FSX version to P3D and now I find I don't need it all. [red face] Thanks for your help Andy. Cheers, Mac

Just to veriry when it works: If I use Flight Sim Commander / Aivlasoft EFB / EZdok on a second PC will the FSX sound keep playing when I click on monitor #2? August 31, 201312 yr Yes that it is exact purpose, but remember the warning I stated about external aircraft sound modules, those may still be muted. Cheers, Andy.
August 31, 201312 yr Andy, Thanks for the confirmation and caution (on like PMDG external stuff). I will have to try it out ... I do a lot of work on #2 monitor now in FSX testing. Have a good day. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
September 1, 201312 yr Author great little program but its buggy. FSX was crashing and viewer reported sound stream Thank you Zoron, it was also apparently causing P3D to hang for periods of up to five minutes. Completely removed SoundStream and the problem has gone. Cheers, Mac
