Opus and pmdg777 is really a good combination turn on the stable grib data. And all goes well

 

Good job opus! Have been updating the weather manually and using time compression. Abit of speed increase and decrease like 1 or 2 knots very impress ! 

Thanks Kailiang. Some of our users have reported good stable flights with version 3.31.1 with Stabilised GRIB disabled, we have done some more work to prevent wind shifts.

 

We are also going to implement the 777 FMC WIND DATA REQUEST soon.

i have an issue where my plane is flying and I would get a random kick to the plane and it ends up disconnecting my autopilot when in compression mode. Any idea how to solve it ?

We made improvements in Beta 3.31.0 to work better with using FSX at increased simulation rates. The free version of FSUIPC should be installed.

 

Try unticking DHM's 3DOF option and if that is not enough try a higher Delay factor. If that doesn't work then turn off Bump Aircraft. If that doesn't work either then you may have to disable DHM completely in accelerated time.

@Cheryl how do i off the distance for updating the weather? Cause with 8x i will get to that distance in no time. So can i remove that option and update for every 15mins instead?

I off DHM for both ezdok and opus becuz i was using time compression, Pretty good for now Getting use to it 

You can set the Weather Update Period and Distance  up to a maximum of 120 minutes and/or 360km (223 miles) in the Weather Download options, accessed via the weather dialog.

 

You can't use both Opus DHM and ezdok DHM, you can't have two programs controlling the eyepoint at the same time.

 

In our Getting Started Guide we recommend you disable Aircraft stress causes damage (FSX menu option - Options, Settings, click on the Realism button) to prevent windshifts crashing the aircraft. In the beta 3.31.0 we have done some additional work to help prevent wind shifts.

I only want to set Weather update period without the distance. Is it possible to do that? Like in as2012 update every 5mins. I only want the time

Yes, it chooses either the time or distance for the update whichever it reaches first, so if you want a 5 minute update then just set the distance to something large like 190km (or whatever is appropriate to your aircraft type and sim speed) and set the time as required. The default Live Weather Update settings are 15 minutes and/or 160km travelled.

Everyone reporting latest beta after the 1300 Zulu posting is working OK and importing with no problems into the 777.
