September 4, 201312 yr I know there are similar threads in this forum and the easy answer is hardware, well it's not. I have this small issue on the 777, and only the 777. Currently enroute from Amsterdam to New York I have had, since the startup some hicks similar to the one shown in one of the BETA videos, where FSUIPC did some datasave, I dont have this enabled, but I still have this lockup for some seconds, and I hate that to happend on final approach. Specs are in my sig. and everything else works fine. September 4, 201312 yr Author Wish it was that simple. FSUIPC Autosave is turned off, always have been - and do I have to configure SimConnect.cfg just for the PMDG 777? I haven't ever touched that file. September 4, 201312 yr I'm very interested in the simmconnect.cfg being messed up. I have never messed with this file either but I do get the little pause every so often. I'm wondering what is the possible fix for this? Thank you Ant Anthony Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHZ, 32 GB ram, win 11, gtx 4070 Super
September 4, 201312 yr Commercial Member If you've never messed with it, it is unlikely to be an issue. What other add-ons are you running, simultaneously? Kyle Rodgers

September 4, 201312 yr Hit alt+ctrl+del and open Windows Task ManagerGo to Performance Tab and hit "Resource Monitor" (near bottom right) How's the "%Highest Active Time" going on the resource monitor's "Disk" tab? Open the "Disk Activity" window for more detail about what is using disk time. I found a faulty hard drive last year that had been freezing FSX (NGX to start with, then slowly the whole sim... and even the whole PC including internet browsing/youtube watching/word document typing/trying to make the mouse move) In my case the freezes happened when Disk activity showed 100% Highest Active Time corresponding with a 0 KB/sec Disk I/O Trent Hopkinson, 2015 Crewmember of www.mangrove.com.au WorldFlight sim Youtube channel www.youtube.com/user/musicalaviator
