Paintkit file missing

Featured Replies

Hello guys,

Today I´m painting my livery and when reading the manual I saw that must have a file called  PMDG_777_VC_NNumber.psd, but it isn´t in the zip file. Where can I get it?

Thank you

There is a kit out already? I thought they said it would take a while yet.

SDK is going to take a bit - paint kits were released at the same time as the plane.

This was inadvertently left out, my fault... I apologize.

It is not difficult to create your own NNumber texture. Here's a quick guide:

- Grab PMDG_777_NNumber.dds from any repaint.

- Open it up in your paint program.

- Create a new layer and fill it with black color, same goes for the alpha channel

- Add your registration using Myriad Pro Font

- Flatten the layer, select all, copy and paste into the alpha channel

- Flip the whole bitmap vertically and save as .DDS with transparency (DXT5)

- Drop it in your texture.(repaint name) folder and your done.

I will update the paint kits on our download page but it won't be available for at least a day. So in the mean time use the above quick guide.

Cheers,
