September 4, 201312 yr Commercial Member Just received an email form Navigraph, has anyone tried this new web interface for the ipad? This is what I have wanted for years, and just in time for the 777 release. Rob Prest
September 4, 201312 yr Excellent, got the mail as well, probably set to buy an iPad now. I am looking at the mini version, but would love to hear some first-hand experience how it is in conjunction with Navigraph's new service.

Will definitely purchase an ipad mini now as a dedicated chart viewer for FS Rob Prest
September 4, 201312 yr Got an iPad mini as well. I prefer the smaller size to the regular iPads and they are selling for a good price now. Great FSX Companion to look a lot of things up while flying. Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me
September 5, 201312 yr I don't have it but you have to have an annual charts subscription to use it. Considering Vatmap (free) now includes a charts function, I don't see a real need for Navigraph charts anymore. The only reason I had gotten some of their charts previously was because I started getting tired of having to use my browser and sifting through different websites like Eurocontrol for the "real" non-US charts. Then I found out, perhaps a bit late, about charts.aero. I would really only use Navigraph then for the few countries that don't publicly publish their charts (for example up to date Canadian charts aren't as easily available). Considering all this easier access to free, mostly up to date charts, I can't justify the $50+ annual cost. I guess one perk of it is having all your charts in the same visual format.
