buttons become unresponsive

Featured Replies

Dont know if anyone has the same issue and if anyone can help. all buttons are unclickable approx 15 mins after getting into the cockpit, fine during taxi and take off, then stop again approx 30 mins into flight. i have discovered, as im an EZDOK user, for example, when in PIC view, and the buttons stop working, they do work if i shift my view over towards the centre a bit or switch to a view to the specific are of cockpit to which i need to operate. Any ideas appreciated, i did check to see if this issue had already been raised on here but could not see anything, apologies if i have missed any such discussion.

Not to be smart, but this issue has been raised several times.

The fix is to ensure your eyepoint is not getting moved back into the headrest.  What's happening with some people is their camera add on is allowing the view point to slip backwards into the headrest geometry, and once it is inside the headrest, the geometry (although invisible) doesn't allow you to click through it.

Move your eyepoint forward.  Done.

Hi!

I know this is a very old thread, but I just wanted to chime in and say that this is a constant issue with the 777. It is not just an EZDOK issue. I have none of that, and for some reason my buttons become unusable. I've searched for threads about the topic without any luck, perhaps I'm using the wrong keywords.

Cheers :)

Full names please John. If it is a constant issue, then please provide the steps to take that reproduce the problem. If it can't be reproduced then it's hard to fix it.

As Dan mentioned, full names in the forum, please.

Additionally, see my post #2, above, and also have a look at the Intro Manual. This isn't a 777 issue as much as an odd FSX implementation of a dynamic viewpoint. Since the 777 is such a long aircraft, the effect is exaggerated when compared to smaller planes.
