Map overhead low view to a keystroke?

Featured Replies

I see there are set views for the radio stack and MCP by cycling the A key, any way to map a key or set a view in the A rotary for the overhead low view please?

Cheers.

It is the third A keystroke by default.

From what I understand, there is no actual 2D overhead. You can however make a simple edit to the aircraft.cfg which will do what you are asking.

Find the section with [CameraDefinition.x] for the overhead view, and add the following below the last line of that entry (before the next [CameraDefinition.y] )

HotKeySelect=2

This will map the overhead to the F10 key (since there's no 2D main panel, that view wouldn't be used.. ) You can then switch back to the main VC by pressing F9. You'll likely need to do this for the Freighter and Pax versions separately.
