First Of All I Would Like To Thank PMDG For This Magnificent Aircraft Which Was Released This Week....Please PMDG Never Stop Making Aircraft Like This....

 

You Guys Are Simply GR8 - - Hats Off.

 

I Got The PMDG BOEING 777-200 LR Yesterday. It’s The Deep Deep Simulation of BOEING 777-200 LR.

 

Its A Software And It Will Have Some Error (As "Bugs" Sounds Very Arrogant For Me)....My Fellow Simmers Should Always Have Gratitude Towards PMDG As They Work Hard And Get Us These Magnificent Aircraft And They Never Disappoint Us....

 

But I Am Seeing Some Error....

 

1) Wheel Chock On The Main Landing Gear (RHS) Is Not Near The Wheel

 

2) I Don’t Know If It’s An Error But When I Customized My Cold And Dark Panel State....After Displays Come To Life I See (ILS APP Guidance Already On The PFD....I Try To Get Rid OF It From CDUs Nav Rad Page....Also I See Two VOR Freq Manually Tuned. I Thought They Were Automatic In This Stage Of The Aircraft....Also The ILS Is Tuned On 110.30 By Default....I Try To Get Rid Of It...But Cant....I Can Clear It Only After The GPS Indication On The ND....I Have To Do This Entire Procedure Every Time After Loading Th Aircraft In Cold And Dark.

 

3) Also Not Even Once I Heard The Typical BOEING 777  CDU Message Chime....Can Anybody Tell Me When Is This Chime Heard

 

But Once Again Thanking PMDG For This GR8 Aircraft....I Think Other Developers Should See What PMDG Has Done For Us Simmers

Wheel chocks are not set next to tires for good reason. They are very hard to remove if aircraft load increases. The C&D issues are known bugs, see Ryan's pinned thread on known and resolved issues. CDU message chime must be an airline option, I can't tell you why it is not implemented but I can tell you that they spent time in a Boeing simulator and if it had it then this software would too.

I've tried getting the wheel chocks out from under my car when they get stuck and it only weighs about 3,500 pounds, I can't imagine what it would be like with a 320,000+ pound 777 lol.

2) Known issue, identified and fixed for the next update

 

3) CDU chime comes with COMMS messages (like ACARS etc.), not warnings. You may hear it before takeoff and before landing with the CABIN READY message.
