  1. Is there a way to connect ground power on the PC12? I know there is a switch for it on the overhead panel but I haven't found anything that actually connects the GPU. Not getting my hopes up that Carenado included this but I figure I would ask.
  2. Yeah I'll make a post over there but not too sure how much weight it will have. From the reading in the thread I could tell it was some finger pointing going on. I was hoping that since it was kind of an old thread that maybe someone had worked on the issue. Oh well, I guess it'll just be the FO's PFD for now.
  3. That is unfortunate. I guess I'll just have to do that then.
  4. So I'm getting kind of irritated because I've lost three flights at T/D this weekend due to this fatal error I keep getting. When flying the 777 after a few hours and trying to use one of the displays pop ups my sim will freeze and eventually come up with a fatal error that closes the sim. This issue does not seem to come up earlier in the flights as I am able to use the 2D pop ups (by clicking on the displays) at the beginning of the flights however when I am further into the flight and getting ready to descend I can't click on the displays or I get the fatal error. Here is the following info I pulled from Event Viewer immediately following the error. Faulting application name: Prepar3D.exe, version:, time stamp: 0x5758bb31 Faulting module name: MSVCR120.dll, version: 12.0.21005.1, time stamp: 0x524f7ce6 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x000345ac Faulting process id: 0xfc Faulting application start time: 0x01d29042c276221e Faulting application path: C:\Prepar3dv3\Prepar3D.exe Faulting module path: C:\Windows\system32\MSVCR120.dll Report Id: 993f4e3b-fc5b-11e6-b10e-40167e29577c Running P3D v3.3.5, ASN, PMDG T7, Ezdok v2, FSUIPC, FTX Global and NA LC, and that is about it. Other than my FTX Global and landclass I'm not running any other scenery. I've tried a clean install but still get the issue. I tried a little bit of google searching and only found one thread that seemed to somewhat cover my issue but it is a year and a half old so I'm not sure if it has been addressed since. So far I haven't found any other aircraft in my hangar that I can recreate the problem with (including the NGX). Any help or insight into this issue would be greatly appreciated. I've wasted a total of 23 hours with three flights this weekend and didn't get to complete any of them.
  5. I've been watching his videos for awhile, he makes some awesome content however he flies the TBM 850 not the 750.
  6. Wait so you think the 747 will have a ridiculous price tag but the FSL A320 which is $100 is fine? The PMDG 777 goes for $90 so I would expect the 747 to be about the same.
  7. PMDG 747 obviously but the TFDi 717 is a very close second. I have been following the project since they announced it and have been patiently waiting. I was hoping they would release it before AirTran was absorbed by Southwest so that I could do some Citrus flights but now I'm just planning on doing Delta flights.
  8. No but I don't know why people keep on insisting developers continue to develop for a sim that is very old especially when its successor has been out for almost 11 years. You can't expect a developer to keep spending resources on developing for a sim that fewer and fewer people are using. I'm sure their sales of FS9 addons have shown them that it isn't worth the time and resources for the return they are getting. They have a business to run too.
  9. I would suggest starting your own thread that way more people are able to see your question.
  10. I was actually just looking up the progress of the TFDI model and according to their website they are releasing it by the end of this year (so any day now).
  11. So far so good. I think I have enough hours with it to write a review which I will try to do after I get back from Thanksgiving vacation. I purchased the Throttle Quadrant Console with the 3 lever TPM option to start with however I do plan on purchasing other throttle quadrants in the future. The sim I am running everything with is the latest version of P3Dv3 and I have all my equipment setup via FSUIPC (of course).
  12. If you already had two "must have" add-ons on your wishlist then why did you purchase a product that you seemed to not be interested in at all to begin with? Part of being an adult is choosing what to spend your money on, you can buy a camera addon that is in alpha or you can buy a GPS addon that you have been wanting.

    Flight1 GNS

Haven't eliminated any other gauges. Guess the [Vcockpit01] was causing the issue, did some playing around and got it working perfect. Thanks for all the help!

    Flight1 GNS

It works but it makes my cockpit transparent. I can see the gauges but everything else is transparent.

    Flight1 GNS

I have no issue using the 2D Popup, that is what I normally do anyway. I'll give it a try.
  16. Has anyone been able to install the new Flight1 GNS 530 into the PC12? I would install the GTN 750 but I'm not a big fan of it being overlapped on the 530 screens and the Carenado 530 is just awful. EDIT: Looks like someone has already been working on it. Hopefully the issues will get fixed soon. http://www.simforums.com/forums/in-progress-gns-530-in-carenado-pc-12_topic56566.html
  17. That is also true. I just booked my flight back to the States to visit family over Thanksgiving; I booked through Delta and received Delta flight numbers but I will actually be flying on KLM for both legs of my journey.
  18. I can't explain why PFPX is formatting it like that, I am assuming you are typing in DAL for Delta Airlines. The difference between the flight number and the callsign is that the flight number is what is used for scheduling and what passengers will know the flight as. The callsign is simply what the cockpit crew identifies as when they are talking to ATC. It doesn't seem to be very common in the U.S. but in Europe (UK especially) the flight number and callsigns are often different. For example, the British Airways flight that operates from London Gatwick (EGKK) to Tampa, FL (KTPA) is BA2167 however the callsign is BAW60T (although it might change). In the US we seem to stick with the same flight number and callsign so you don't see it too often.
  19. Has anyone else had issues with graphics card crashing and recovering then P3D getting a fatal error? I am running the latest version of P3D v3 and for some reason my graphic card crashes approximately 5 minutes after loading the sim then recovers and when it recovers I my screen comes back to P3D blacked out and eventually getting a fatal error. At first I thought it might be an issue with my drivers but this only seems to happen when I am using this aircraft, I can hop in my A2A C182 and fly with no issues.
  20. It is here! I must say I am so far extremely pleased with the customer service and professionalism of PFC. I had contacted them prior to making the purchase to address some concerns I had about shipping and they responded quickly and got me the answers I needed. Then after it shipped it arrived here very quickly (which isn't necessarily all due to them), I was quite surprised when it arrived today. I am stationed overseas and don't usually get packages that quickly. I must say the packing job is very very nice and I am not usually one for talking about packaging. They use foam pieces that are cut to fit the product exactly so it looked very clean and I had no concerns about any damage. In the middle of a fresh install of my sim so hopefully I will get some flight time with this new setup this weekend. I will do a proper review once I have a good chunk of flight time with the new gear.
  21. I have read that is one of the biggest complaints with their yokes but I never really used the hat switch so it isn't a big deal to me.
  22. Don't actually have them yet but placed the order and received an email saying they should ship by this Friday. Just so excited that I had to share it (although my wallet was not too happy with me)! Once I get them and get some flight time with them I will share my thoughts on it. So far from what I have heard they are really high quality products.
  23. Unfortunately I cannot. I am just going off what I have read on the release notes. I'm not too fond of the G1000 and don't really own any of the aircraft they made with the G1000 cockpits.
  24. I have noticed that all the aircraft that are getting 2.0 versions are ones with G1000 cockpits. I think it is mostly to add the weather radar into them and fix small bugs related to the G1000.
  25. My experience is they will speak the native language of the flight crew/orgin, the language spoken at the destination (usually), and English. I live in Germany and all my flights within Germany the flight crew made announcements in German and English. When I fly back to the states (usually on Delta) the flight crew makes the announcements in English then in German. When I flew to Tokyo from Vienna on Austrian Airlines they made the announcements in German, English, and Japanese.
